How this market works
Short odds are not safe odds. At 1.30 the market is saying this happens about 77 times in 100, and a bet that loses one time in four at that price is a bad bet unless our number is genuinely higher. The stake sizing takes that seriously: a small edge on a short price earns a small stake.
The fixtures worth looking at here are the ones where a low-scoring reputation has pushed the price out further than the goal rates justify.
